I worked as a creative director for interactive media with New Media Inc. in 1999. Their main client was Canon U.S.A., At the time Sony had just launched a new line of digital cameras and was aggressively pushing the line though advertising campaigns literally everywhere. Canon wanted to increase it's presence as a technology innovator and it's new line of Powershot digital cameras.
I worked to develop an online portal highlighting the Powershot digital camera line along with one of the greatest design teams I have ever worked with. After the launch of the portal Canons online visits went from 35.000 a month to 420,000 in the fist thirty days.
Next came Canons KnowHow ad campaign (shown left.). The aim here was to demonstrate how Canon made advance technology and systems easy to use for the end user.
I worked as a freelancer for McGrawHill Higher Education in 2008. They own a number of properties and systems that they were working to upgrade and streamline. I was working on several of their properties redesigning and prototyping, helping to tie together looks & feel to many of their brands shown here.
ActiveSim is a online nurse training app. It was a pretty complicated step based simulation app that graded in realtime as students progressed through the screens. This job was challenging because there were also a number of tool tips and instructions that had to be shown dynamically on certain mouse actions without obscuring the main page content
